Rewatching now Jan was beating Reyes up he seemed more calmed, hit harder better combinations and was able to close the distance Reyes seems to struggle with distance knowing were he's safe and not. Jan is a beast he has fought ever damn light heavyweight Rakic, Ankalaev, Peirera

Anyone who knows how this 0 in record can be seen in marketing etc. You pay for the refs, and if you pay, you can also demand certain moves from them, e.g. in a close fight in favor of the defending champion. All martial arts sports are corrupt and organizations 'take care' of their cash and marketing cows.

He has no problems with distance, look at him go. He‘s an excellent fighter just not in shape to beat guys like Jan who‘re really tough. He even beat Adesanya, the only thing that Reyes is missing is a bit more muscles and weight, but this is of course because he never planned to be in the UFC. He is your average joe from the States grown up from the Karate Kid era of the 80‘s. So he has the knowledge to fight, executes really well but for some fighters at the UFC you gotta lift more, be stronger and train your body muscles. He already is fast, the only thing in his arsenal that was at the same level as Jan were his kicks. At least it seemed like this. People forget with these gloves you got in the octagon your knockout power drops immensively, so one has to strengthen the finger and finger tips and finger capa to hit with the non covered parts of your hand. This is similar to Shaolin Kung Fu, so if you for exampke uppercut, do hit the opponent with the finger’s outer side from your fist. So hardening every part means, give him time. To beat the very best you gotta train at least 4 years and try to fight guys who are not killing your body. Also healing needs a process, and if a part of the bone is broken to heavily one will always suffer a bit on that spot. Also suffer psychologically thinking of what happened when you fought before…

He got into fighting because he liked the conan movies and fight movies, mortal kombat and street fighter video games etc. It's fair to admit he's stronger and has more power but reyes is no slouch either. I definitely think Blachowicz would have knocked jones out had he not fled from lhw. And Reyes definitely beat jones imo

It was over even before that. Jan kept timing Reyes over and over on the exit with that body kick. Jan's lead hand was so much better, and Reyes had no answer. Another thing I don't see mentioned here, is how defensively responsible Jan was guarding against the left hand/foot of Reyes. Jan was just too good in all facets here. The better man won.

Reyes was poor. and fought in the best way to suit Jan- on the feet, not much legs, not much jab.. jsut waiting for the slug fest. terrrible from Reyes. he didnt do 5hit. should ahve been way busier, used the leg/ calf kick to fron leg, to slow jan down, and then take him to the ground.
