Mighty Mouse was the most skilled, and a great case could be made for him to be the GOAT other than his lack of credible competition. However, Khabib, to me, is even better than GSP. That being said, Islam has better fighting skills than even Khabib did. He has much better striking and stand up, their grappling is pretty much the ame, and I think Islam has better defense. Why is KHABIB the GOAT, then, over someone who has more skills? Because even as good as Islam is, Khabib has one thing over Islam, an absolute indomitable will. Khabib has a stronger mind, a more committed spirit, an absolute refusal to lose. Islam is incredible. The sole reason why khabib and Islam are so dominant and unbeatable, is bc they’re entire camp consists of guys who ALL have very similar levels of strength, pressure and style. Imagine if that’s all you trained with your whole life. Everybody else is a cake walk. Unfortunately for Dustin. He can train as hard as he wants, but he dosent have the same level of training partners.

that's a significant advantage that's overlooked. These guys have been training every day since they were children, maintaining a lifestyle of pure discipline (no alcohol, drugs, etc.) and hard work. Everyone in their gym is likely levels above those who train at ATT. While Dustin was shooting a Bud Light commercial, Islam was probably in the gym or watching film

This is what puts UFC at the top of the fight game man. Say what you want about Dana but the UFC really does their best to give the fans the ultimate experiences. From the fights, to the media. I loved HBO all access. So for them to understand how videography like this gets the fans engaged, and create the countdown is phenomenal. The cinematography is second to none, the visuals, the sounds, the stories - say what you want but UFC is at the top of the food chain. I’m hype for this weekend.

This is going to be a really hard match up to predict, on paper, Islam Makachev is one of the most complete fighters on the roster, pound 4 pound No.1, his striking, grappling, wrestling, all aspects of his martial arts game is absolutely top notch, but on the other hand we have Dustin Poirier, a true veteran of the sport, who has got some of the best boxing skills in the sport, and is crafty enough to set up traps and get the job done. All it takes is one shot for DP, like in the BSD fight. It’s going to be an absolutely incredible match up and I so excited. 😊 Sean Strickland vs Paulo Costa will be an excellent match up too, hard hitting match up. 👏
