Ikr Ngannou skill is underrated, people say ngannou who fight stipe in the second is the most skilled version of him but honestly ngannou even has skill before the second stipe fight (except the rozenstruik fight) and he also very good counter striker. But yeah some haters (who already reply my comment) always try remind everyone about rozenstruik fight when he just wild swing without skill and ignore his other fight (when he didn't wild swing) and say his striking is poor or whatever, they always say this to ngannou and never say that to Derrick Lewis when he was the real one wild swing fighter

Watching these earlier fights . It's incredible how much Francis has improved . His defensive wrestling has gone through roof . He's patient and knows how to read his opponents incredibly well . Don't get me wrong even at that point he could definitely take down fighters with poor wrestling . @6:42 Dude, he had just gotten into half guard 44 seconds earlier... And he gave no warnings before standing them up either. At least he should say improve your position, fight for a finish, or something like that or I'll stand you up first. Every ref separation was questionable and they all clearly favored Ngannou. Great fight though.

Watching great fighters in the early stages is fascinating. Their opponents aren't as intimidated as they are now. It proves that the mindset in fighting is as important as the skill set. Still ended badly, but dude wasn't scared of Francis.

Yep, from being taken down by Henrique, to stuffing one of the best wrestlers at heavyweight in Stipe, and not only stuffing it, but reversing it to land hard shots on the former champ. Really impressed with the improvement Francis has shown. So excited to see him face the most skilled striker in the heavyweight division in Gane (IMO) and see how that goes.
