Steven Garcia possible as it adds the element of what's if. But in this case..its unlike Silva who was a) clowning and b) broke his leg... This fight didn't really leave as big a question mark. Wasn't exactly "lucky". I get what you mean though....but trust me, Dana got the result he wanted today. Keep in mind he didn't utter the words rematch at all! Connor will fight Frankie or go up in weight. Aldo isn't being offered any immediate rematch. To be honest but for being undefeated .. Personality wise he is kinda boring. So I'm glad. Conor deserves the accolades. He's selling the sport and performing. (And is alot more likeable thank Ronda to boot!)

Ronda isn't a fighter to him...she's also a window to the mainstream for the ufc. Her loss took the gloss off that. It's not to say she can't come back, but if Dana white had a time machine I guarantee you he would go back and change the opponent. Everybody loves Holly...but Dana knows she won't have the same media presence that Ronda had.

0:55 Dana is literally walking past Edgar when he's discussing the unlikelihood of a fight with conor and smugly/wryly looks over at him. I think Conor will take that fight as Edgar has been patient and respectful, I think Conor will admire that. As he always says however, the numbers must add up and Edgar's PPV numbers arent amazing. The Weight cut is taking it's toll on fighter's especially without the IV hydration and obvious strictening of the rules where blood tests are concerned. The UFC have a huge opportunity now with so many potential rematches and superfights on the cards (Holm-Rousey, Jones-Velasquez, Mc Gregor-Dos Anjos/Cerrone). 2016 is going to be very interesting.

If you can´t beat middle, lightheavy, heavy or super heavy weight you´re not really a champ. Maybe champ after 50-60 other fighters lol...in a street fight a real fight they´d lose so easily, In an mma fight they´d lose to anyone in the higher ranks. THANK YOU Dana for saying Aldo isn't getting an immediate rematch. After you saying Barao deserved an immediate rematch with Dillashaw after their first fight even though Dillashaw won pretty much every second of that fight, and Rousey deserved an immediate rematch after losing an entire round before getting KO'd I thought for sure the only title holder in the division and someone who's been undefeated (partially because he gets injured before fights almost as much as Cruz) for 10 years, that's longer than Rousey has been fighting, Aldo would get that instant rematch after "just getting caught" the opening exchange... Although I guess you could say like Holm and Dillashaw, Conor won every second of the fight. The way immediate title rematches have been going around (including Jon Jones, way to punish him by stripping the title than giving him an immediate title shot, may have well suspended him and gave DC the interim belt since that's basically what was done) I thought you may even break out Weidman should get one since he's defended a few times and beat multiple former champs including Anderson Silva... Dare I say Dana is starting to base rematches on how the latest fight went and not based on previous accolades??? Seeing how Damien Maia was upset enough with rankings to call the UFC out post fight twice on rankings I expect this may make him smile a little.On a side note: Am I the only one that starts getting a chub thinking of the potential Cowboy vs Conor title fight if Cowboy wins and Conor moves up. Two people not afraid to talk trash and bang and each have semi-awkward but entertaining and effective stand up skills. Actually one of those "super fights" Conor mentioned at the post fight conference I'd love to see and if the belt was on the line it'd be even better.

i think jose wasn't focused at al and conor capitalized on that. if you look at the fights between for example chad mendes and conor and mendes vs aldo you could clearly see that jose was the better one. chad's tank was just empty when he faced conor(2 weeks notice). i think if they face off at ufc 200 and aldo improves his mental strenght and gets his confidence back that he's gonna beat conor's ass. still i'm looking forward seeing connor face 1 other opponnent before ufc 200, just to see wether he actually manages to maintain his calm attidude knowing that jose is waiting....
