@@aims32 Actually it does, having a good athlete and fighter is largely thanks to their coaching. Take a look at what Trevor Wittman has done with Rose, Justin and Kamaru. If we're talking about the TUF season, clearly Miesha was not a bad coach considering her fighters won. Ronda beat Miesha because Miesha had poor fight IQ and didn't realize she was having success against her on the feet. In any case Ronda was completely outclassed and outmatched by Holly and Amanda, who didn't evolve because of her idiot yes-man of a coach.

I'ts all about the early development. I agree with Trevor Wittman developing his athletes but 1) they train for YEARS under him and 2) they also have to have that raw talent and it factor which is something embedded in them BEFORE coaching. Trust me, I'm a national level coach lol. Not in MMA but still.

She was winning the fight against Miesha until she got caught in a hail Mary submission from her, Valentina is one of the most skilled WMMA fighters ever and her fight with GDR is fraught with controversy because of GDR's cheating. No shame in losing to Cris Cyborg or Amanda Nunes either. Also, Holly takes losing like a champ unlike Ronda.
