Dana definitely should've given $50k bonuses to many more fighters on this card.. Erin Blanchfield, Chris Guitierrez, Moicano, Frevola, Ryan Spann.. Absolutely banger of an event deserving of it. He did in the that UK card several months back and this one warranted it just as much in my opinion.

I was thinking the same during round 4 as Dana. Adesanya should've pressed in Rd 4 when Pareira was so tired he didn't land a thing in that round. By waiting to counter, he gave him 7 minutes to recover. This should be the blue print to beat point fighters. 1. Go crazy and show them danger to stop the offense 2. Recover while they wait to counter 3. Go crazy
@bryanmuwanguzi99

You are making it sound as an easy thing to do, while not at all considering that Adesanya got knocked out in their second kickboxing fight due to getting overly aggressive, and also that Adesanya usually knocks guys out when they get to crazy, fx. Costa and Whittaker.
@fahadus
@fahadus Жыл бұрын
@@bryanmuwanguzi99 I'm not saying anyone can do it. Just pointing out that this kind of _counter fighting only_ can be used against the fighter. Alex didn't throw in the 4th anything at all. Adesanya should've figured that he's just recovering.

If you don't run it back with Izzy and Alex right off the bat, make Alex earn that title and have him fight a grappler. Great fight, bad stoppage considering Izzy wasn't wobbling from being dazed but from the leg check. Kudos to Alex, does kinda seem like they cleared the path for him, but he now has the chance to prove he can be great (assuming he fights more than strikers like he currently has up to now).
