Colby did have a full training camp as a backup fighter, he's always in shape throughout the year, and has made some improvements under MMA masters. He was never retired and wasnt recovering from serious injury. These things are often the case with many other fighters that do fall off. I doubt he's fallen off

Obviously this is the perfect card for Usman to give a breakdown of, but I'm still impressed with his style of analysis and I'm hoping he keeps these up going forward. Smart fucking dude, moreso than most in MMA. It showed in his DC & RC appearances, but DC always talks over guests so you never got a full idea of Kamaru's style of presentation.

I was never much of an Usman fan. But you've got to respect the mans body of work and the fact that he fought Khamzat on a weeks notice when he's loaded and has other options and could easily retire. @@predition7714 Nope, haven't forgot.First fight Leon got a lucky kick after Usman "schooled" him the entire fight. Second fight was even relatively close and Usman beat Leon back in 2015 so the score is 2-1 for leon. Remember GSP lost a couple times also and had to rematch to avenge it. I'm just saying in my opinion Usman's run at welterweight was second most dominant under GSP. No other welterweight champ's defended like these two.

Based upon your absolute domination of Leon, up until that kick, I believe colby grinds him down. I don’t think Leon deals with frustration very well and he’ll be wearing colby from the first few seconds until it ends. Colby is also a natural welter, whereas Leon has to cut much more. I guess we’ll see soon 😊

Definitely everyone falls out of prime one day, I still believe if kamaru was in his prime he would still run through all the top ranked welterweights and there is still no one in the division who could have beaten a prime kamaru usman.
