Tank Abbott once said when I'm done with the fight win lose or draw I go home and drink a beer my opponent goes to the hospital. When kimbo was young he dropped bombs, the first few fights in tank average career he didn't even break a sweat man he connect with one punch and it was enough to rock them or drop them. This entire fight was damn near fixed watch at the very beginning Thompson is deliberately missing when he's throwing punches from the top in round 1. Hell Seth Petruzelli knocked out kimbo in his fight with kimbo and they offered him an extra like 25k or something like that not to wrestle with kimbo, to keep the fight standing, because kimbo has no ground game what so ever

Commentator had no room to call that a “terrible stoppage”, the guy was shook and was flailing his arms on auto pilot. Not to mention it’s not their job to throw criticize the refs live like that. Kimbo had him rocked and he was toast in a few more seconds anyways. The refs job is to protect the fighters from themselves, he did just that.
