I have the 2022 KLR 650...modded to the top....suspension as well....I do more street than off road and like the better wind protection. If I was younger, it probably would be a modded Dr 650..love the video's. Keep your feet on the pegs and your right hand cranked, but be safe. 🙂

Very nice. I love the All American Hwy. I spent last two days up on the high country east of Heber, planning a trip further out up through the Uintas then cut over to the WYBDR.

Casto canyon has an atv/ motorcycle trail up it. You'll have to check it out next time your in the area. Super worth it!!

Thanks, appreciate you watching! After my last two long rides on the DR650 and the fact that I'll be riding it to Mexico, I decided I needed a larger tank. I got the 6.6 gallon Acerbis on the way. Once again, appreciate your time!

@@precipiceofgrind great choice! You will feel the weight when it is topped off but after a couple gallons are gone I can't tell the difference with mine. Not having to even think about gas is worth any extra weight. I've gotten almost 300 miles out of mine (it has expanded a bit). keep the videos coming!

@@precipiceofgrind Some time back i put the 6.6 on my DR, rejetted to procycle kit, 155 jet, dont remeber clip grove used, cut airbox out, stock header/exhaust. range 250 miles to reserve. ran great, and really needed that range for Nevada and other like areas.

I got on the nose of 140miles on the stock tank. I ran her full to dead. Then used my 1.3gallon can that we made a custom bracket to fit kinda where the tool box was.

Very nice! I've been thinking 140 was the number but never pushed it out that far, always caved after 100 or so miles and filled up.
