I think the football video game market is going to be shaken up. With UFL as well as the newly announced "Fifa 2K" title that's being developed, there will definitely be much more competition for players in the near future which, in my opinion, will be great for us players!

With some tweaks here and there UFL will become a good game with bar with EA FC . And most importantly in a game or a football game is to be fun . I think UFL has got that aspect .

@@weewo98 UFL is free to play. still people will play EA Fc. but I think a lot will be playing both games.....and than at some time do the switch to UFL. you can never compare a new game with a game that has been on the market for 25 years

People dont get the point of competition in place on the market. So Your assumption is wrong. You DO NOT NEED to cannibalize all gamers from EA FC game. It is enough to get SOME OF AUDIENCE to play UFL.... EVEN 30% or so.... It will be a success. WHen UFL was out, 1-2 days it had MORE DAILY GAMES them Fc24.... That tells you a big potential to take some share of football market.... If UFL comes out with improved gameplay. I bet 50-75% of all fc24 gamers will install UFL.... People HATE EA SPORTS, naturally. So UFL does not need to be miles better than Fc24. If UFL has some fun modes and decent gameplay - people will STILL PLAY IT>.... People can play both games , as they play multiple shooter games and not just 1.. So you are completely WRONG about UFL potential. and assumption that nobody would switch. You DONT HAVE to switch and still grab large portion of EA market share.... thats how more competition works....

You make some really good points, especially the comparison of there being multiple great shooter titles available at once. The one counter point I would make is that when it comes to sports games, there generally is ONE title that dominates the market and it's been that way for as long as I can remember. It will be really interesting to see how UFL as well as the new "Fifa 2K" game that's being developed shake things up and how the football video game market adapts as a result. Will the audiences be split across these games or will one come out victorious? I don't think any of us know!

We can find a lot of counter points to why UFL or any other competitive football games (2K fifa is under development too as we know) might fail to trigger any big chunk of market share from EA. It's true that typically 1 sports game leads in its category. However we can see some good competition in basketball game segment. Where 2K is head and solders ahead of EA sports..... /// ___ As a gamer, I'd easily play 2-3 different versions of sports games if those offer different gaming experiences and game modes. (like in the shooter category). If competitors try to copy EA Ultimate Team - they will fail..... they need something new, fresh, creative.... // the Problem with PES by KONAMI for the past 10 years has been that they haven't invested enough to make their game better and more creative. And it is not about graphics at all.... Menus are terrible and old, player animations are weird and old, no creativity in game modes, and tourneys, plus dribbling mechanics in PES are awful and hard to perform, which makes them pointless. I believe UFL made a good job by "copying basic skills" from EA with right stick moves... but added several more animations that are quite cool..... Anyways :) I am 100% for more competition and 2-3 new football games there. at least 100 mln people play football game. huge market. and with Web3 Tech behind the corner? _ could be exciting times ahead of us )))

Agree, i play fifa just for pro clubs and efootball if i wanna play like online league, so i hope ufl brings something like pro clubs or 3 vs 3 like in efootball

Sounds like the typical FIFA review which is a good thing. Clunky dribbling, some op shooting technique, and so on. Remember you all are used to 95 rated cards in Ultimate Team, try playing the normal EURO mode and everything will be clunky in EAFC as well. Just from watching the gameplay it looks exactly like FIFA, way more so than PES. I think the players not having clubs makes sense because you sign them, why would their old clubs matter? What matters are the players and their skins/cards. This seems to do the job pretty well, I wouldn’t miss a lot if this would replace FUT altogether, maybe with FIFA 2K as a career mode option alongside, then we’re covered without any money going to the store pack merchants from Canada.

My opinion: I think you study fc24 and make videos to explain how fc24 can be best played and enjoyed.. it isn't the "perfect" game.. there's no such thing yet. So I think you may have to be open minded about UFL the same way and study it as much as you did fc24 and give us good content as always❤. UFL is different and it's gameplay shouldn't feel too familiar or similar to fc24 else, what is the point?

fifa 22 is hands down the best, f23 got worse and f24 is disaster, the animations are trash, charactrers looks like generic robots
