I am a grandmother using my own whiteboard along with the ipad Zat Phonics letter mat to practice sounding out easy homemade flash card words with my kindergartener. But I really enjoyed this introduction into the formalized method. It steers me in the right direction. Thank you for all of your work. I'm sure it is greatly needed throughout the country. I am interested in finding easy to read online books, especially ones that will sound out difficult words when the child gets stuck. I try not to work more than 10 minutes at a time on any activity so it does not become too stressful.
