The album is, top to bottom, outstanding. This tune, however, is a masterpiece. Every now and again a song grabs me musically and emotionally and this is one of the very few that do just that. The riff at the beginning is classic. Schenker's fill in leads are perfect (nobody does it better, but Slash does it pretty damned well). Phil's vocals are numbingly good...passionate, pained, borderline angry, hopeful and ultimately despondent. It's literally a perfect song.

A piece of magical beauty. The bridge with the title words is so great, makes me wait for it for the entire album. Michael's solos are top quality as are the lyrics. Fantastic closing of UFO's last truly great album (several subsequent ones are quite satisfying; this is their last fabulous work).

Phil could have been a blues singer if he'd put his mind to it. The blues is about hardship and being down on your luck. "Woke up one Manchester morning No sun up in the sky Got the train down to London So broke I could make you cry" For me, this is the best track of an outstanding album. Love the lyrics - no waffle. Je suis exactement du même avis. Mais le problème était multiple : peu de producteurs auraient risqué leurs deniers pour financer le retour de la soucoupe, fut-il avec son meilleur line-up. Seul Ron Nevison - pas rancunier, car Schenker l'avait skudé après la sortie du 2e album de MSG et du live "One night at Budo-Kan" (à la sortie d'une énième cure de désintoxication) - s'y est essayé du fait de connaître le groupe et d'avoir déjà travaillé avec eux (Lights out, Obsession, Strangers in the night). L'auto-production..... Les gens d'UFO dépensaient tout leur argent au fur et à mesure qu'ils le gagnaient (dixit Phil Mogg) donc ils n'avaient pas un pic d'avance. Ensuite, entre un Michael Schenker capable de tout et surtout de n'importe quoi à n'importe quel moment (drogue, alcool, escapades aussi subites qu'inexplicables et j'en passe), un Pete Way imbibé du matin au soir et du soir au matin, un Phil Mogg souvent dans le même état au point d'en oublier parfois les paroles sur scène, qui réglait les affaires du groupe à coups de poings (c'est pour ça que Schenker est parti en 78, parce qu'il en a pris une un peu plus forte que d'habitude, mais pas que), l'affaire n'était pas simple.... C'est pour ça que l'album est sorti d'abord au Japon en 95, où la base des fans d'UFO, de MSG et de Paul Raymond qui a vécu longtemps là-bas est plus que solide, et en 97 en Europe.

Best track of that album, the riff is very Love to love-ish. Great that this line up came together again. One minus point is seeing a grown up man wearing a cap as if he was 16 and in desperate need of street credibility. Even demi-gods aren't perfect, that's only something for the real deal.
