Wow,girl!!! Love it. I been hooping for a little over a year now,no where as good as you are,but I enjoy it!!! Did you start out hooping at a real young age,you are still young, but as a kid?

Thanks Brenda! Happy hoopiversary! I started learning when I was around 25 (8 years ago). It wasn't something I was ever able to do as a kid. Definitely a learnable skill that's for sure.

Did you have to train yourself to not get dizzy? It’s seriously my downfall. Been hooping two years now. I still can’t spin around like that lol

Hi yes! I developed it like a muscle. I do a number of techniques including spotting, rapid breathing, I shift my gaze up and down and tilt my head sideways. It resets my inner ear / stops me getting dizzy. I talk about it a bit in my body rock dance course. I found limited research on it from a study on figure skaters spinning and their eye movements. But it's a bit hard to explain 😅
