Martin, Looks like you were changing the rudder angle there at about the 34 second mark. Were you changing it for more (+) o less (-) lift? It seemed like you were foiling pretty well, then the bows got 'dunked' and the boat slowed down a lot. That is when you made the adjustment so curious about it. I'm still working on all the fine tuning of my UFO #330 and rudder AoA is one of those. Larry

This was some time ago! Looking at it, I think the rudder angle was ok for me sitting on the middle pad when foiling. I then reduced the rudder angle so I'd be slightly bow up. You can see that after that, once foiling I scoot forward to the front pad. My theory is that having weight forward once you are foiling is more prone to crashing... but faster!

@@MartinHoffFoilingSailboats I've seen the same thing about more speed when I move forward, but don't feel it's made me more prone to crashing. (Or maybe the crash and resultant waterboarding has just made me forget!? LOL) Last week we had great winds, but they were blustery and not steady. Made it hard to 'fine tune' the boat for that.
