Uganda's new Environment law seeks to punish wetland encroachers

Plans to present an environment bill which seeks punish wetland encroachers among other things are in the offing as the ministry for water and environment prepares to cancel wetlands titles. The Minister for Water and Environment Sam Cheptoris says offenders will be required to pay hefty fines once the law comes into force
