Ugas vs Ghvamichava FULL FIGHT: February 2, 2017 - PBC on FS1

Yordenis Ugas has been riding high, winning his last two fights against undefeated fighters. On Tuesday, Feb. 6 however, he faced "The Wolf" Levan Ghvamichava on PBC on FS1.
Ugas and Ghvamichava took their time in round 1. Each punch was calculated and they were cautious in finding the right distance to land their jabs. Ugas was the first to let his hands go. In round 2, he found openings in Ghvamichava body, due to the Wolf's tight defense.
Ugas was able to make home for his punches on Ghvamichava's body. The trend continued rounds 3-5, but some of those punches were landing below the belt. The referee gave him multiple warnings as the fight continued, warning that a point would be taken away if it continued.
Ghvamichava picked up the pace in the later rounds, but the low blows caught up with him. In the 8th round a point was taken away from Ugas. Round 9 and 10 both showed moments of fury between the two fighters. At the final bell the fight looked quite even.
The judges saw otherwise, Giving the split decision to Ugas after 10 rounds and moving his winning streak to 3 in a row.

I thought Ugas won every round except for the round in which he had a point deduction.The Wolf had some good moments but never could deliver a sustained attack. Ugas was there every time, attacking the body and delivering that right hand. The only disappointment was in the commentators who must have had money on the Wolf man. I sure liked watching the fight I saw rather than the one they described.

A tremendous contest by two fine boxers who slugged it out for ten rounds. I thought Ghvamichava deserved at least a draw because of the numerous low blows by Ugas who probably won it with his point scoring left lead. There was little between them when they stood toe to toe.

I thought the fight was fairly close, but gave the edge to Ugas. I was surprised that the final judge had it 99 - 90 in favor of Ugas. I didn't see Ugas running away with it, but I do feel he won the fight.

He's vulnerable from a Right Hook and Left Cross / Straight punches) 5.) He's always open from a Body punches either left or right (because he's so tight on high guard). 6.) He has NO head movement 7.) Sometimes threw wild punches 8.) Feather fisted (not a power puncher). Spence DUCKED Pacquiao and Crawford did not SIGNED the contract to fight Manny.
