Oh my God, I completely agree! I actually told my mom I wanted the ultra minis not realizing that the one I really wanted was for a bit taller one. The classic mini ll. This video actually really helped because she’s trying to buy it for me for Christmas/my birthday. But I agree with you the other ones look like slippers.

I have both styles in different colors. I like both, but the ultra mini seems easier to work with pant wise. I’m only 5’3 so I have a lot of extra material with jeans and leggings. Sometimes I feel like the classic mini can be an odd cut off for my short legs lol. My classic minis do keep my ankles warm which I love.

I have both . The ultra minis gives me the “shoe” look but they do run bigger than my classic and minis. All of mines are a 7 but the 7 in ultra mini flop off of my feet a little

I want the regular classic minis but I’m a size 6 should I size down to 5?

It’ll be snug at first but it’ll loosen once the fur flattens a bit. If you plan to wear socks I would stick with the 6. It might come off the heel but that’s the nature of the shoe. If you get a 5 the heel may come off anyway.

A comfortable snug should be good, but I wouldn’t say tight! So I would size up! Hope that helps

@@nomiym1 did you try the mini? I got a pair and love them (never thought I’d wear or like UGGS but now I’m wondering about the ultra. Since they are the “IT”shoe for 2022 that means something else will be the next best thing (I’m late to the game) but they would be for my daughter who just bought a pair of regular (not tall) and loves them (and wears them around the house), but I wanted to get her something more slipper like for quick errands and can’t decide between the mini or ultra - I want it to be comfortable but LAST (and I think she actually likes to have something unique, so there’s that piece) - i can’t decide but want it to be a surprise so I can’t really ask - ugh!

@@wendyraye I ended up buying both, but I like the mini better. The ultra minis look better and they’re what is trendy right now but they’re really difficult to put on and once on they seem to slip off. I did see a lot of reviews that the ultra mini’s slip off, so I asked the employees at two different Ugg locations and they both said that it’s true they do slip off but people still buying more than mini and they don’t understand why. If I had to choose I’d choose the mini not the Ultra mini. Unfortunately, I wore the ultra mini and I cannot return them. The regular mini fit better.

@@nomiym1 thank you so much for the detailed answer. Because of slipping off and being hard to get on I think I’ll pass on the Ultra mini. Besides something else will be popular like platform ones. I think for the money it’s a better investment to get something more “timeless” and I think the minis are more timeless. I swore I would never wear UGGS but even my husband likes the minis on me, and he couldn’t care less about shoes, lol. They’re not too tall where you feel silly wearing them with sweats (joggers) and look cute. I appreciate your insight.

It’s cozy but I don’t pay attention the the ankles. Head, chest, feet most important for feeling warm but I imagine whatever is exposed might get cold on the skin. Hope that helps :)

Funny when people claim it’s controversial to wear Ugg boots during summer, when Ugg is not a winter or rain boot. Ugg is not a brand, like the Deckers US company in this video that produces their boots in China, but a style of boot made out of sheepskin and merino fleece originating in Australia and NZ Aotearoa during the 60’s worn 1st by sheep farmers, then surfers in the 80’s. There are no snow in Australia. People are just conditioned to think that anything with leather/suede and wool/fleece are meant for winter, snow and ice. Also why Ugg removed Australia from its name as it has nothing to do with Australia except posing the style of boot as a brand, when there are hundreds local Aussie owned, run and made in companies or manufacturers of Ugg in Australia! The US owned Decker’s company even tried to sue these local companies from using Ugg when this company is not the originator nor even Aussie. Also Ugg (the American brand) is overpriced, and not even 100% real merino fleece wool, as it’s mixed with synthetic plastic fibers. The outer sole is crap and doesn’t work on ice nor does it survive rocky surfaces and pavement very well either. But when you live in a country that’s car obsessed and you only frequent malls than actual terrain, then it’s a different story. People need to do proper research and get educated about the product before uttering BS claims.

It may feel loose and a 6 will be snug at first but will loosen. So try a 6 but if it’s an uncomfortable kind of snug then better to the 7.
