Crazy... I am guessing it sensor calibration given changes in 02 tension at different heights. I had a related problem with the Aventador in Vegas but it was due to humidity and heat. How is the car running once you get down from 10,000 feet? Did the system reset? At any rate, the views are AMAZING!!! Thanks for taking us on the road less traveled!

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is a key sensor because it senses engine load, the sensor generates a signal that is proportional to the amount of vacuum in the intake manifold. The engine computer then uses this information to adjust ignition timing and fuel enrichment. It's probably a little-confused being at such a high altitude just take it easy on the noise pedal till you reach a normal altitude.

might it be caused because is a n/a engine?
@nicopjkatsburg7 жыл бұрын
+migmardi Not neçcesarily but just because it got a bit out of breath? a turbo has the same sort of sensor or an MAP But it will run without it. just not at peakpower.

"2500 miles, what a trip!" Don't get hung up about the mileage, do the roadtrip. If you're going to get worried about putting mileage on a supercar you'll never do the roadtrip you're dreaming of and one day you'll be in your 40s with kids and a mortgage driving around in a Honda wishing you'd done it when you had the chance.

I enjoy your videos. Of the you-tubers I watch your videos are by far the best visually. Great story telling. As I do my own videos I'm sure you spend a lot more time editing than the others (Shmee, Seen through glass, JWW). So thanks for taking the time.

Love this kind of videos and you film and edit them really well with great storytelling! Would be fun hiking with you cause I'm the same, in awe all the time, just in love with nature :)

The barometric air pressure at 10K feet is 10.1 PSI versus 14.96 PSI at sea level. The air is less dense and there's less oxygen. A little surprising the lambo is that sensitive to barometric pressure.

I was gonna reply the same thing, he need not worry
@taylorb56817 жыл бұрын
No shit. You lose 3% of total car power for every 1000ft above sea level you go. Every vehicle notices that much of a difference? Your car would take a shit on you everywhere you go if your cars computer didn't make up for those discrepancies.

No such thing as a bad day @ Yosemite!! You need to find the money for the trip! If you need to plan it out over a year or so....do it. So don't take the Lambo. Get another cool ride to do it in....consider purchasing a used RV.....the trip is worth doing. How do I know? I've been to Seattle. I've been to Key West. I've been to San Diego (and San Francisco). I've been to South Padre Island and of course, I've been to Maine. Not all in one trip....THAT is going to happen sometime soon. But when I add up all the cool things/places I've been? That thought contains lots of cool memories/experiences. MAN you gotta take the trip! And that goes for anyone reading this.

Stradman, I dont think the engine light is a problem. It just say that its a miss-match between 2 different types of pressure calculations. As the absolute pressure takes the atmospheric pressure (a calibrated value) plus the gauge pressure and the barometric pressure just measure the gauge pressure they are going to be different as the "calibrated value" for the atmosphere is normally around 1 bar(g). But when your up in the mountain its no longer 1 bar(g) so the pressure measurement doesn't know why its different. You can say its out of its original limit as its built to measure around the atmospheric pressure.

You could always do the trip in a used civic or corolla and probably sell it for what you bought it for when you get home, it'd still be a great experience.

nice vid & great scenery!!!! "again" ur Audi check for fuel pressure, you'll need a pressure gauge n simple attach to the a nipple usually on the fuel rail/injectors etc recheck the fuels for fuel pump, etc & check the pumps connected up correctly.. a fuel pressure reading will give the OK for the fuel pump... then it's an electrical issue... check plugs/coils etc also if your getting good fuel pressure then it shows no issue with fuel filter! PS why not do a rnd trip in the Audi???
