You are out to control the whole process of your hair when someone else is doing vs trusting. For instance pre-poo + no one can show my hair love like I can. You have a hard time trusting and use the I he he ha ha as a mask to cover this up. Try this on your next visit - No pre poo, don’t bring your own products, no comments about I know my hair better than. Trust her, her talent then sit back and enjoy the experience.

There is a difference between fine hair and thinning hair. Your hair is thinning on the ends love. That is why your density is higher at the top, not so much at the bottom. Fine hair can still be dense and full and it looks like you definitely have naturally dense hair.
@TheePrettyGirlSwag2 ай бұрын
No it’s not. The nape is lower on the neck ( of course) so it appears longer. The hair at the top just doesn’t reach down to the length of the hair that sits lower. It’s essentially the same length just the lower hair appears longer. My hair grows the same way. The texture, for some of us, on the nape can be looser & finer versus at the top. I use to get upset to see it but I just accept the fact that this is how it is.
@NiyaT172 ай бұрын
@@TheePrettyGirlSwag whatever helps you sleep at night dear. Your density should be consistent from root to ends. Fine hair has absolutely nothing to do with why her ends are see through. If her density was the same from root to ends, then her hair would not be see through on the ends. 🤷🏾♀️
@TheePrettyGirlSwag2 ай бұрын
@@NiyaT17 how do you know if it’s not a different texture? Everyone’s hair is not the same from place to place. My hair in the front is 4C high density. The nape is 4a fine and low density. One person can have several curl patterns and hair types.
@NiyaT172 ай бұрын
@@TheePrettyGirlSwag and that literally has nothing to with thinning hair. The hair typing chart is made up. It’s not real. Cosmetologist do not go to school and learn how to style hair based off whether it’s 4A or 4C. Her hair is thinning because she does way too much with her hair thinking it’s helping when it is not.

I’m not trying to be rude but the stylist didn’t sound knowledgeable about the science of hair growth at all. She needs to do more research and not stick only to what she learned at school. I’m an esthetician and there’s plenty of things school didn’t teach me about my occupation

I agree

I think she needs some help with this. IDK 🤷🏽♀️. I’ve never been the one to say anything hurtful, but the hair quality is concerning in comparison to before.

As a licensed professional I agree with this

No😮! The hair quality is going down. This ain’t right. Something is up. Maybe see someone that’s more of a hair scalp professional. I think you need more than a basic stylist. Not being funny or mean but this is not your hair standard! 😢. On another note: I love Clinique make up removing products. I’ll order some through this link. 👍🏽

I'm always hacking at the crown. Once my ends don't curl right, I cut them.

Hun you might need to see a trichologist there may be an internal issue as to why your hair is breaking on the side
@SheReaDelSol2 ай бұрын
It's not breaking on the side. The shorter crown isn't meeting the longer hair, if that makes sense.
