I disagree with detangling the hair using a brush (even a wet brush) when the hair is soaking wet. I don’t care if the hair is slathered in conditioner, the hair is in its most fragile state when it’s wet. Everyone is different but it’s definitely not for my fragile strands.

Sherea, sometimes it’s better to listen to those who make us cry, rather than those who make us laugh. There is a difference between fine hair and thinning hair. Your hair is thinning on the ends love. That is why your density is higher at the top, not so much at the bottom. Fine hair can still be dense and full and it looks like you definitely have naturally dense hair.
@TheePrettyGirlSwag
@TheePrettyGirlSwag 9 күн бұрын
No it’s not. The nape is lower on the neck ( of course) so it appears longer. The hair at the top just doesn’t reach down to the length of the hair that sits lower. It’s essentially the same length just the lower hair appears longer. My hair grows the same way. The texture, for some of us, on the nape can be looser & finer versus at the top. I use to get upset to see it but I just accept the fact that this is how it is.
@NiyaT17
@NiyaT17 9 күн бұрын
@@TheePrettyGirlSwag whatever helps you sleep at night dear. Your density should be consistent from root to ends. Fine hair has absolutely nothing to do with why her ends are see through. If her density was the same from root to ends, then her hair would not be see through on the ends. 🤷🏾‍♀️
@TheePrettyGirlSwag
@TheePrettyGirlSwag 9 күн бұрын
@@NiyaT17 how do you know if it’s not a different texture? Everyone’s hair is not the same from place to place. My hair in the front is 4C high density. The nape is 4a fine and low density. One person can have several curl patterns and hair types.
@NiyaT17
@NiyaT17 9 күн бұрын
@@TheePrettyGirlSwag and that literally has nothing to with thinning hair. The hair typing chart is made up. It’s not real. Cosmetologist do not go to school and learn how to style hair based off whether it’s 4A or 4C. Her hair is thinning because she does way too much with her hair thinking it’s helping when it is not.

I found this video to be informative i could not have an individual use the tools that she is using in the way that she’s using it. I have a very sensitive scalp and suffer from chronic migraines for 15 to 20 times a month I think finger detangling would be amazing and maybe just upgrading to the Rev. air instead of a roller brush that paddle brush pulling but I mean if it’s working, it’s working thanks for the video.😂❤ also if you’re struggling in different areas of the hair this could strongly indicate a nutrition deficit try eating lots of salads, and fruits, and things that have lots of fiber Foods that pertain a lot of omega-3‘s. 80% of what you look and feel like, is through your diet and what you eat daily This also means in the hair 🔥✨good luck on your hair journey

I am happy to see a hair vid again - love these. I don’t agree that you are bullying the stylist. I dont say this to offend. In my opinion, I see you as a control freak. You are out to control the whole process of your hair when someone else is doing vs trusting. For instance pre-poo + no one can show my hair love like I can. You have a hard time trusting and use the I he he ha ha as a mask to cover this up. Try this on your next visit - No pre poo, don’t bring your own products, no comments about I know my hair better than. Trust her, her talent then sit back and enjoy the experience.

I love your makeup at the intro of the video, the color combination matches your skin beautifully. I think you should consider a long bob cut, I bet your hair would grow exponentially. You've been at waist length before so you could get there (and longer) again, I just think more hair needs to be cut. I know the stylist says your ends are fine, but her technique doesn't seem to be working because you end up with these same frayed ends every few months. I really think if you cut more length the hair would have a growth spurt because you'd finally retain healthy length. Just some food for thought. Great video

It’s not hungry…if you take a a moment to stop feeding your hair food that it doesn’t want your hair will grow, but u r grown and need no advice I guess I’m just saying what I see. Why not try something new if what’s old it’s not working? It’s concern not judgement.

I hope you see this comment. Have you tried checking your labs? Vitamin D, Iron, Ferrimine might have misspelled that one, estrogen, testosterone, it’s called a hair panel. It shows everything. It may not be how you are taking care of your hair, it may be something within.

@mrod87
@mrod87 12 күн бұрын
Split ends/breakage start where the Hair thins visibly. Choosing to trim where the hair is still visibly thin means she will develop more splits by the next trim bc she left splits in the hair. Her hair looks healthy, but evidenced by the photos she has retained like an inch of length in a year. There’s nothing wrong with that not everyone is maintaining their hair for growth,she wants a certain shape and she’s achieved it. As long as both her and the stylist are happy goal accomplished.

@@jasmine9538 ohhh she has said that in other videos…girl i dunno. But i believe stylists should be blunting ends Everytime they are professionally cut. Not everyone believes that. If a client isn’t retaining length a discussion needs to be had on making revisions to stylist to that can be achieved.
