And then they end up being the closest friends of the king of hell and his witch mother, helping them out because evil isn't really evil (!), but no one sees the irony in that...

Oh my sweet baby how happy he was. I mean he was happy later on too with Sam, Cas, Jack, Bobby but this...just the carefreeness. I can't believe that this season he was dealing with his Dad's death, knowing that he died in order to save Dean, burdened with the knowledge that his little brother will turn in to a demonic monster unless he can save him, and if he can't save him, he will have to kill him, thinking his life has no meaning and his only purpose is to protect Sam....and this was the lightest season. :)
