Ugi-Ulawa (Solomon Islands) Bride Price Ceremony

A typical bride price ceremony in the Ugi-Ulawa culture. The groom's father travels to the bride's village, gives the bride price and returns with the bride. The value of the bride price; traditionally was not imposed on the groom's family. Rather it is what the grooms family deemed fitting for their ceremony.
