The Final Scene of Ugly Betty with one change--the music's changed to Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall. The lyrics fit better, and it's such a wonderful parallel to the pilot, which also used this song.

I watched the original version and find it odd that people say that is the best version, Betty was treated horrible in the Colombian version, that for me is not a love story. That's why I like the American version more.

No, we never see them together. I think we would have if we got a season 5 but the stupid newtwork cancelled it :( If we got more seasons i think we would have seen Betty and Daniel together. Seen as they had to end after 4 seasons they had to wrap it up so instead of starting a Betty/Daniel romance in season 4 they just hinted at it in the series final. I guess in the spanish version they got together?

Oh cool. I've never seen the spanish version at all, don't even know if it aired over here in England so i can't comment on the plot of it. You say "while Ugly Betty got canceled" quite harshly. Ugly Betty ran for longer than the spanish version and if you asked anyone they'd only mostly know Ugly Betty, not the orginal. Good shows are always the one that get cancelled and/or finish before they should do ;)

Oh I didn't mean to sound harsh. I meant to say that I think the orignal UglyBetty is better because it won awards for best soap opera and stuff and the American version got cancelled. Ugly Betty is a good show, but I fell in love with the original version. It is very addicting. And you are right, here in America only hispanic people would know the original one but in South America, everyone would know it.

In the spanish version they were together since the second season but the spanish version is waayyyy different than this version. In my opinion, the original version is a wayyy better story. That is why I was disappointed when I found out Ugly Betty does not follow the plot of the original. And also Betty La Fea turned out to be the greatest soap opera ever written while Ugly Betty got canceled.

yes and no. They hint at them going finally making a move towards having an actual relationship by daniel asking betty out to dinner. I'm honestly very mad/sad it didn't go further than that. i want to see how they progress because i think they were cute when they would hang out in the show.
