True beauty is lame. I read the Webtoon and eventially dropped it because of how little progress there was in terms of chracter development The webtoon for this one though, I've read it twice and is one of the three webtoons I've read more than once (I have subscribed to nearly 300 webtoons till date)

@@itzmehscarlet4570 Definitely watch this drama. I haven't finished it yet, but the start looks promising. They have changed the plot a bit in the drama. In the comic both her parents are supportive of her surgery while in the drama the mom keeps it a secret from the dad. In the webtoon we never see her parents after that and it's focused on her college life.

I am fed up watching Korean's views about beauty. Everyone should be able to accept ageing, white hair, and wrinkles in the skin as a part of growing up and ageing. These beauty industries are misleading everyone. Fair or dark, fat or lean, tall or short, everything should be normalized. I can understand losing weight for health reasons. Losing weight just to meet society's standards is cruel. Recently watched so many Korean movies and drama's and thought of writing it somewhere. PS: It's not about the review or author. I am generally saying about these Korean dramas. I like K-Drama and C-Drama. But some of them are too dramatic.
