This whole garage is weird. Unattractive choice of colors and wood.

In my town, many garages spiral upwards. Each section of the spiral is given a letter and the floors are letters based on which two sections meet. This may lead to differing floor numbers on each side. One side would be AB, CD, EF etc, the other would be A, BC, DE ect.

What do you mean "the elevators don't serve the top floor or the bottom floor"?

Just your typical run down garage elevator... it would suck to get stuck in one of those.

I've seen those spiral ramp/garages a few places. I think it was a popular design in the 1950's. If you ever get to Minneapolis, check out the Macy's parking ramp downtown. It was built in 1957 as the Dayton/Radisson Ramp. (Dayton's eventually became Macy's) It uses this same design but is also a double-decker within the ramp system. The two sections are known as the 7th St. Ramp and the 8th St. Ramp. You end up on one or the other depending on which side you enter from. It's also one-way up with a double-deck spiraling tight left-turning exit ramp that forces everyone towards the only exit on the 8th St. side. If you look at it on Google Maps street view, you'll also see it even has the vertical steel cladding just like this one. As an added note, before the boring generic mod, that ramp also used to have 4 Westys with black buttons and among the most amazing power stops and starts I've ever seen!

I'm assuming these used to be OTIS Lexan and interesting how the buttons are on one side and the indicator is on the other.

+Ali Hafeez Yeah I'm pretty sure they were judging by what Skylar (NationalElevator) said about having that rectangular thingy that was on top of the door frame inside the elevator cab which had like two directional lanterns on each end of it and an early type of digital floor indicator in the center of it.

I never said that these were lexan, but I'm pretty sure they didn't. As for the indicator, I don't think these had them. The cut out would have been bigger
