Love the RHI stuff and story from that guy. I recently wore my Anaheim Bullfrogs jersey to my local ECHL team's game. I got a few looks from people who recognized the Bullfrog!

There aren't a ton in the U.S., so if you ever get one in Chicago (or surrounding areas), go out of your way to go. Well worth a drive.

This looks like a sports jersey collector and sports fans HEAVEN right here. Now was it just hockey or was it all sports? Also loved the little nod to the Adidas MiC Game worn unis as O am blessed to have 7 MiC Addias Jerseys in my collection.

The whole Flames jersey, with the exception of the nameplate, was screen printed. I find it so ridiculous when the NHL is that cheap!

Not just the dimples . The crests and patches are sewn on not heat pressed . The stitching inside is way more robust and the jersey was twice as much

Awesome video! I own a 2008-09 Osgood gamer, and can confirm that there is a similar modification as seen on the jersey at this expo. Apologies if I sound uninformed, but are the jerseys at this expo for sale, or are tables a collection display? Wish there was more that two videos, and some B role to view of what was there.

We could have filmed HOURS of stuff, but we figured there's only so much feeling of sleeve number fabric one can watch before bailing lol. Could have gone on and on and on, but we decided to cut it off somewhere. Maybe next year we'll do even more. I feel like most people were there to show their stuff and, at most, trade. There were two or three tables clearly there to sell, and honestly, it wasn't as much fun talking to them. Most of it was people just proud of their collection and wanting to share it with interested people, and that made it really REALLY cool and enjoyable.

Sounds like a great expo. If I may pitch an idea/a few ideas for next year’s / the next expo you all attend. I think that it would be entertaining to have you all find the jersey you individually think is the rarest, most sentimental, important. Each video could feature 3 different jerseys, and could allow for education regarding each jersey. Big fan of the team overall.

Ah yes......once bitten then hooked......this is what it's all about......once I had my first gamer with the holes, stick marks, board burns, photos and story behind the sweater, I was hooked......welcome.....did you make any purchases??.......Meigray has an annual summer game worn expo which is awesome......big sales and gamer grab bags....usually July in New Jersey

Came close to buying a couple, but ultimately passed. Someone wanted to buy the Calle Johansson jersey I was wearing, though. Since we wear our jerseys so frequently, we weren't sure if there was an etiquette for not wearing game-worn jerseys. Not many people there were wearing jerseys to begin with, let alone gamers. Not sure if there's an understanding that if it's a gamer, you don't wear it out and about (maybe unless you're meeting the player whose jersey you have).

@@uglythirds yes, understanable, that Johansson is bad ass........well, me personally I dont wear my gamers because the first time i put on a Reebok 7187A size 56........hilarious- hung like a thrift shop special- WAY too big........I would wear a scrub's or a game issued jersey, but not a something you want to risk adding non authentic game damage......my best gamers are in clear plastic suit storage bags......ive seen people use these to transport if they wish to have it signed, which is another niche - sign the gamer or not??...on numbers?....fightstrap??...top of the ice Borg, but once you yourself photo match a jersey, it's great fun

Amazing!! Although these guys are brave allowing the public to touch and manhandle gameworn jerseys!! Although tbf, enthusiasts looking at enthusiast owned jerseys at least means they are treated with respect!

When we googled for similar events (we might try to make one in Hershey, PA) there definitely were some in Europe. I know one was German, but I don't recall further. Somewhere between ignorant American and poking fun at ignorant Americans - I'm sure that's like two train rides away lol

Do you guys collect any non NHL jerseys? AHL, ECHL, CHL, defunct leagues?

Our collections are NHL focused, but we all dabble in other leagues, too. We're headed to an Allen Americans game in about a month, so naturally we each had to buy a jersey for it. Didn't want to show up underdressed.

I'm not certain we stopped there because nobody was at that table consistently, but the collection was incredible. Seemed military themed without being strictly military.
