You're right darling, love this. The saddest truth is, people think change will fall from the sky but not acknowledging the fact that it's people who bring change. I will hope that we African everywhere have a change of mind and look to Africa as the Future, because Africa is! I'm not proud of the many nonsense in Liberia as of now but the potential is very huge. As I mentioned on some of the videos on my channel, Liberia is a virgin Country with great potential, the sooner you look it, the better you will lead in it's wealth. Look at it for future investments.

I love Liberia. I am an American. I have visited 9 times. I have invested in several projects to assist youth there. Thanks for these ugly truths. I agree these are major challenges. I just disagree with your approach to bribery. Understanding the reason why and empathize is one thing, but to suggest lowering your morals because of it will only make the problem worse especially for future generations. The answer is not to have a system in place of the corrupt one for a better option for bribery, but to teach doing wrong doesn't pay in the long run and try trusting God while doing the right thing will pay off in this life eventually.

Liberia needs to improve the human development index of the population. We are an old nation but we should humble ourselves and look around Africa for ideas before looking to the west all the time. Rwanda can teach us a little about governance and public administration. Kenya / Ethiopia could help us with workshops to develop light industries and supply chains to build a manufacturing sector. We need to build state capacity that takes the lead in industrial development. To synchronize development policies, we need think tanks to regularly and thoroughly evaluate the needs of the population, to determine areas for investment or intervention with a goal of improving the living standards of the average citizen.

I visited Liberia from New Zealand in 1987, spent about 6 weeks walking around Monrovia by myself, I was mugged once but it wasn't violent. I continue to follow things in the country through Rodney Seih's FPA. I'd say the 5 issues you mention are now worse than they were back then. It is a depressing, because, as everyone knows, your country has such great potential. I hope you guys can get the right people into government and that they can implement policies that'll put Liberia on a course towards greater prosperity. I would like to see the best people stick it out, try to bring about the changes to make things better, but yes, people have to put themselves and their families first, and if that means walking away from Liberia I guess that's what they have to do.

Essential things like Education, good roads, and safety shouldn't be things that are compared to heaven. If you want Liberia to get better, you'll see this video as a call to do "Something," instead of doing unnecessary comparisons.🥰

Those young people have eyes; but they can NOT see clearly. Their thinking is "ILLUSIONARY AND IMAGINARY". Mind you!. If they are in the majority, they certainly have the votes. Their votes matter. Very much! You bet!! THE BLINDS SHALL LEAD... "Just give me a little something and I will vote for you. I'M HUNGRY"-The Liberian way.

Ellen Johnson did her part, in her own way. She took over when the country was at it worst. Weah is trying to develop the country I was in Liberia a year ago when he light up Monrovia. One of the mean developments project are paved roads, electricity and water pipelines (water supply) which he is working on. Liberia need people of he’s caliber who have contact worldwide, u may not see the development he is doing now but in the near future.

I hope you don’t think i’m an idiot for this question(s) 1. Let’s say you get a degree in Electrical Engineering, Nursing or Lawyer how’s the job market for something like these jobs freshly graduating , would you have to move off or could you stay where you are ? What’s the expected salary per job ? Good video by the way

Don't waste your time. There is nothing there but corruption. I was there this past April to attend my late brother funeral. The place is filled with trash, market people almost everywhere. It's a shame and pitiful

I recently show a documentary by vice on Liberia and was horrified, I am so confused about this country! In one place I see children addicted to opioids and talking about raping women and on the other hand, I see well developed places with having educated people like yourself! I can't seem to understand how such a duality can exist in one country!
