This was a concert in Japan. Her maternal grandfather was Japanese, and she lived there for a time when a child. Japanese is one of the five languages she speaks fluently. There is another video of her singing in Japanese at a live concert. That song was very beautiful. The Japanese obviously love her and accept her as one of their own.

Thanks for your reaction to my all time favorite musical artist, Angelina Jordan. Angelina's maternal grandfather was Japanese so her performing at the Asian American Awards was proper. She was battling a cold at this time, yet still gave a very good performance.
