Thanks for the video. Can you please offer me some advice. I would like to transfer my day's photos from my camera's SD card to a usb flash memory drive. I don't ever take a portable computer or IPAD type device when I am out taking photos - the only device I have with me is my Samsung Galaxy S22 phone. (I would prefer not to store the photos on my camera). If I connected the UGREEN drive to my phone, could I then insert my SD card to the drive and my USB flash memory stick and somehow, transfer the photos from the SD card to the USB Memory drive? Or do you think that there may be a better way of doing this? Thanks again!

Yes you can and you should use an easy to use file browser like FX File Explorer for copy and paste

It may only work for file transfer. The Samsung Dex desktop interface is only available on the S models

The problem with USB microphones in Android is drivers. You have to find a microphone designed to work with Android or along with an app.

Yes you can and it and it supports 4K 60Hz. However please note, I am yet to encounter a mobile phone's desktop mode that supports 4K so please ensure that your device as a USB type C output display port that outputs the resolution you are looking for. Also this particular hub does not have a port to charge your phone while in use.

The Samsung M51 does not have Samsung Dex and the A8 also does not have Samsung Dex. Their Type C port must be a display port. The hub will only work for file transfer

Yes it is possible but only if the hub is connected to your laptop and your laptop is being powered by its power adapter. It cannot be charged if the hub is connected to a mobile phone as it does not have an input USB type C port to provide alternative powerful charging.

Your phone first has to be a model that has a desktop mode either Samsung Dex or EMUI. I am not sure if there are other desktop modes for other mobile brands. Samsung Dex began from the Galaxy S8 onwards so all subsequent models will have it type C display mode for screen mirroring and a desktop mode., EMUI is mainly a product of Huawei but others use it.

While connected to this USB type C hub you have full function of the phone. You can only access the phone's camera through the hub if reported in mobile screen mirroring. It can also work if you have a touchscreen monitor connected directly to your phone via type USB C without the hub.

What you need to understand is the power required to run your mobile phone and devices connected to the hub. So what I usually recommend is that you purchase a switching USB type C power adapter that can go from 5V up to 20V at around 100W and over. This adapter will be plugged into the hub provided that it has a separate USB type C port to provide power. This way it will adequately charge your phone and pour all devices connected to the hub. Without requiring your phone to provide any sort of power to connected devices.

If your phone has a desktop interface or a type C port for mirroring yes it will automatically display your phone on your screen. You can even connect a PC mouse to the hub and control your phone. There will be an issue if you have to enable desktop mode manually from the drop-down menu to the top of your phone screen. But screen mirroring will activate automatically.

Could be and encryption display security feature similar to HDCP. That's the only explanation I can think of. To troubleshoot, try connecting the S23 Ultra to a monitor using USB C cable only. Well for that you would need a monitor that has a USB C display port. If it works then it's an encryption issue for sure.

UGREEN 2in1 Adapter; Micro USB Male + USB Type C Male ((to)) USB 3.0 Female. --Samsung Galaxy S 10 Lite connected trough the Type C port to UGREEN Adapter, and 2 USB 3.0 stick/memory at a time and i transferred from phone's internal memory ~3,3 GB (( like 6 vids 4k 60fps, about 10 min long and pictures, about 260 pics)) to those USB 3.0 memory and it took 05:10sec on each other, and then i connected an USB 2.0 memory and it took 05:25sec. That Adapter it is not USB 3.0 in my view, and all Adapters and Hubs are IDIOTIC because the type C tip is not long enough to isert it in a phone that has a CASE on it.
