From my experience, all of Ugreens products are brilliant.. I’ve got this dock but the version with a Usb C port instead of one of the usb 3.0 ports. It works brilliant. Their charging cables are brilliant too, as is their 65w usb c/usb 3.0 wall plug that I have too. They make great stuff for great prices , and braided cables on practically everything too. Can’t complain.

Thanks for your review. I have a similar model of Ugreen. Mostly no problem with 4K@60hz, but once in a while the screen goes off and on and always it happens when I run Netflix on my Windows. I am wondering if you can reproduce with your environment.

Yes we are all good thanks, was just more of an inconvenience having to isolate. You are not going to believe it but dell have delayed our r13 6 times now and I don’t think they are actually going to honour it as I got it before they increased all their prices in the U.K. 😞

Good cord length, my mini dock have about 4 inches. Would nice if they had a right angle plug to reduce port strain for tablets. I need to find one that has a 3.5mm jack with USB C input so I can both use wired headphones and my android TV tuner at the same time since higher end tabs want to copy crApple's "bold" move and drop the jack.

I’m only getting 4k30 with a mirrored display. I’m using a macbook air and a 4k120 monitor with a 2.0 hdmi cable. But the macbook is not letting me change the hz of the display

Yes it should do, I don’t have a 2k 144hz to test at the moment but as it can do 4K 60hz it has enough bandwidth

for my setup cable length of hub is not long enough, do you have any idea how to extend it? i tried with few cables with usb 4 (female adapter with both ends) adapter but none of them are working. i believe that the cable has to support in a special way may be with a cable with some kind of chip or something.

I have been using it a lot as I have needed it for my surface pro 8 which only has thunderbolt ports. No problems to report. Only thing I would have like to see added is power delivery so it could also charge the laptop! But for the price this is selling for I can understand why it is not already included

I’ve figured out two major disadvantages: 1) You cannot connect two usb 3.1/3.0 devices at the same time and transfer files between them. The moment when you plug in the second USB drive, it ejects the other one immediately (guess, lack of adequate power) 2) The color of the device, shown in the description, is different to the actual one that they send to you. It’s much darker. It other aspects it’s a solid device and, I guess, you can find a 7-in-one with power delivery option on their web site.

Hi, a good video, I've just bought this for my OnePlus 8 Pro, I know it has MHL support, I have then connected the cable up, and all it does is connect, then disconnect, and reconnect, and disconnects? any ideas why? Thanks

Hi Rob, sounds like the phone is not happy with the dock! have you tested the dock on another device to make sure it isn't faulty? Also make sure there is nothing plugged into the dock when you first plug it in. Also try giving the phone a reboot and try again. Sorry I cannot be more help but I don't have a one plus 8 to test it with

I tried it on a different TV in my house, it turns out the TV I was trying it on has a HDMI port only rated at 900mA or 5V, which leads me to believe there isn't enough power on that port, tried it on another port but only displays 4K 30HZ, guess I just need to upgrade my 4K TV now lol
