regarding more than one solution to a problem, a classic one is dealing with falco laser: -oh just power shield it. well if u dont execute the PS then you're stuck in shield and they have the mixup advantage on you -just take the laser hit at certain spacings and dash out of the hitstun -use platforms to dodge the laser entirely and force them to laser at the new height while you get in on lower ground

to be richer than bill gates you would have to make 88.7 billion dollars. if you got one dollar for each of those nairs. and lets say each nair takes 2 seconds to watch and you are watching them straight with no delay between them, that would still take 177.4 billion seconds or 5625 years of straight watching bad nairs with no brakes. no sleep no eating, just nairs. seeing as melee has only been out for about 15.5 years, you must be lying.

yes, but for it to even be possible to look at that many nairs (since he did say that he has seen all these nairs), he would have to simultaneously look at 363 setups all doing continuous bad nairs with no brakes and no stopping since the moment melee came out. Still ridiculous

Choosing the right move based on percent is also useful, because cloud can't follow up on landing up air with a short hop up air at 0%, and Robin is sometimes better off using back throw at 0% against some characters because of fast nairs/Up Bs

Doesn't over/undershooting come natural? I mean even in my local groups people naturally do this if they notice the enemy evades their attacks, but if you ask them about overshooting they'd not immediately know what you meant.

Now, I have been using Ganondorf against my brudder lately, and he cannot seem to beat me. We think we know why, and we think it puts Ganon at the top of the tiers. I will be brief. Ganondorf has his air forward. We call it 'The Punch.' It has that special hitbox like a sword, hence it goes right through anything except an attack with that same type of hitbox. It does 17% max, is relatively fast executing, has basically instant recovery on a barrier cancel, and is quite massive, killing at rather low percentages. If he misses, he can just do his A punch if the opponent tries to retaliate, or shield/roll. I am telling you, Ganondorf is a crazy meat mountain who crushes bones with many attacks doing 15+%, survives to insane damages thanks to his weight, and has ridiculous horizontal recovery (Double Jump, Ganondorf Kick Down B, ANOTHER Double Jump, ARE YOU SERIOUS, Up B). Next, check his roll. It goes like half screen. It makes him rather fast, nearly eliminating his speed problem on the ground, and a great character when it comes to the defensive game. It pretty much eliminates the need for his wavedash, which, with Ganondorf, who needs to do most of his attacking from hops, is pretty much useless already unless you are looking to smash attack. Wavesmashing, however, in my opinion, is also a bad idea, because, in the time and damage it takes you to actually land a smash, you could have just used The Punch and killed you opponent by then.

Advice is an uncountable noun, and therefore has no plural form. You should say "one of the most important pieces of advice" or "some of the most important advice" and not "one of the most important advices". Learning English is hard, and I only want to help.
@rakkatytam

I feel, as a learning student of a foreign language myself, that it is my duty as a native English speaker to help non-native speakers when they aren't following English syntax rules. The less rules there are, the harder it is to understand. We need to all follow the same rules, whether or not it's legible without them.
@XDjester
@XDjester 7 жыл бұрын
Moreover, the plural form of the word "advice" shares the same spelling. Examples are based entirely on the context surrounding any given sentence. ie: "Thanks for all of that advice" and "Thanks for the advice." It is inferred that more than one token of advice was given in the first example; moreover, though, it cannot be inferred that the same wasn't also true in the second example. Depending on the circumstances in which the later was presented, the implied "plurality" of the word changes in regard to the overarching context. An example from Japanese with a similar grammatical function is the implied nature of a sentence's subject throughout a conversation. ie: "Araragi-san ga suki desu?" followed by "Un. Suki desu. Honto ni sugoi da!" which is then answered by the first speaker with "Kakuii mo desu ka?" Throughout the more recent example there is an understood subject that persists within the conversation without ever being mentioned more than once. The same can be said about the plurality of words like "advice", "deer", or even "pants" in English. Preexisting context defines this aspect of their meaning, making the language very easily misconstrued when taken out of it; even to those who speak it fluently. Learning English is hard, and I only want to help. P.S. Yes, "advices" is incorrect.
@TheAvgCommentator
@TheAvgCommentator 7 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say the word is being used in a plural form with the same spelling and pronunciation. The example I was given when I learned this was water. You can't have any plural form of "water" because it's continuous. Same for wood or granite. It's not a single thing like nouns in singular form, nor multiple single things like nouns in plural form.
