I was waiting for the review then my local ulta sold out few days before this came out. I think a fun challenge would be pastel looks from pallets you wouldnt think you could do it with. Like I do a pastel colorblock with the conspiracy palette using What's the tea, pig-ment, and food videos with a dash of diet cola and ranch.

LIKE SO SHE ANSWERS PLEASE!😊 Can you please do a video showing what you use to make Shadows so pigmented and how to make them work better and also what brushes work better for each Shadow formula? this would help me so much cuz I have some palettes that I can do so many great looks with if it showed up this palette for example

My assumption is that it would be the base/primer you are using or the brushes! I personally have flipped to only using the ABH eye primer and use it with all my looks because it has worked the best with most of my palettes! What I like about it is that it has a thicker formula, has a slight tackiness to it (helps shadows adhere), and its light in color without being a bright white (helps show the true colors of shadows). The NYX chubby eyeliner in milk is great too as a base but its a bright white! If you use blending brushes that arent super dense with the hairs they dont apply as much shadow and it makes it so you have to build up the colors more.

I had to subscribe because of how cheery AND detailed and informative you are. You really utilized this palette and chose a look that really showed a lot of colors and their potential. I really wanted this palette, but wasn’t sure if it would look like a cheap childhood make up palette. You really showed how to get good color payoff with only two layers. I think I will be buying this now because I see it is better than I expected and something I can incorporate into my make up looks easily.

Was so waiting for you to do a look with this! no matter what eyeshadow palette as you always seem to get so much freaking pigment out of it. I got this palette and I was like this is so powdery I can't even get it to work and I was just dying to see if you would get pigment out of it and once again you cease to amaze me! Beautifull look! I love these shadows and I really want to figure out how to get them to work they're so beautiful yet they're so light and it as soon as you blend them in there just disappear

I have this palette. And I effing LOVE IT. I'm living for that purple color. I lost the little sheet with the names on it so I forgot. But that candy colored matte purple gives me life. And it looks great on your skin tone. This look came out so cute, too! EDIT: Dreamer! It's called Dreamer. 😂

Thank you! You could probably do something fairly similar if you have Jawbreaker :) This palette is slightly lighter in tone with the pastels than Jawbreaker is in my opinion though!

Nice review! I've been looking for a good primer for a very long time...is the anastasia beverly hills primer suitable for hooded, oily eyes? I'm used to the NYX glitter primer, but matte eyeshadows do not blend easy with that one... thank you in advance!

I dont have oily lids so I cant say for sure but it does have a thicker drier formula to it! I have slightly hooded eyes and it works well for me. I havent tried the NYX one yet. I believe its only meant to be used as a base for loose glitters/glittery shadows and not meant to be used as an eye primer since its a glitter glue. Id try using something else for an eye primer (cream shadow, eye primer, concealer) and using the NYX Glitter Glue in places where you are going to apply shimmers :)

If you find those ones chalky i dont think you'd be happy with the formula of this one. These are more powdery and dusty in texture than jawbreaker.

i used the ABH eye primer! You might need something a little brighter and tackier to get them to work better. the NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencil in milk would work well too since its light in color and has a nice tacky consistency to it!

Personally I love Icy Fantasy but you have to like really light and airy pastels and greys to enjoy it! To me it depends on how much you wear pastels. If you dont wear them much, id probably just stick with jawbreaker since it has a rainbow of pastels. But if you wear them frequently I'd get Icy Fantasy unless you want pressed glitters :) The CP tie dye collection palettes are very similar to the formula of icy Fantasy, the difference is the Orange Tie Dye palette is more neutral and the pressed glitter in each of the palettes.
