Also worth speaking on is the late hands on those go routes. That can throw a lot of defenders off. Usually resulting in a successful catch and breakaway, or PI because they’re watching the eyes and not the ball. Love from Florida 🤘🏾

Great video as always…. This offence since the artist formerly known as left, has had the potential to be high octane. Whilst Waldron had some great concepts, I feel his play calling in the red zone was too ‘kill shot’ heavy, lacked balance and patience. Hopefully Eat at Grubb’s offence is more nuanced (especially in the red zone). Although as Geno is a pocket passer and last year the O-line was a revolving door of ordinary, I feel as though that’s the main key to the offences success. I’m from Melbourne, Australia and love your work…

Excellent analysis! So I'm stepping up my usual 5 bucks to 20...because it excellent Hibachi Murf. One question please. While i notice some really gifted NFL receivers that make circus catches, also some in history (including DK) don't seem to be posession receivers...why do you think that is in general? I believe some really talented amd physically gifted players dont have to work as hard and this hurts them. Whilst I'm a huge fan of his, I've watched him miss or drop many 'easy' catches then make a seemingly impossible one. Ive often wonder about this. Thanks

George, much love, brotha. Thanks for the support; you're always very generous! DK is not a natural hands catcher. He's a supernatural athlete. Catching is an innate skill that when you're really good at it, you don't even think about how you're doing it. DK is someone who has to constantly work at it as it appears his hand-eye-coordination is very average. It's like how DK never had to over exert himself to be faster than everyone growing up. That's just a gift he's blessed with. You can tell more by how sometimes he has to cradle certain catches to make them. The most natural catcher of the ball is Odell Beckham, no matter how the ball is thrown at him, he usually finds a way to catch with his hands and with his palms facing out - when it's coming directly at him. When you make catches with your palms facing in, it shows that you're not confident in the catch and need your body and forearms to help. Hope that explains it. Thanks again, my man!

Since Russell throws such a moon ball (high trajectory) and it drops in from above, do you think it took or is taking longer for Geno to adjust to a non moon ball? Seriously, i have no clue but I trust you will know or have an idea. Along the same line, is it wise for DK to practice with Russell for same reason? I once heard DK mention he was "used to Russell's moon ball". So might it be unwise to practice with a trajectory he's never going to see from Geno? I imagine it harder for a QB to adjust his throwing arc than a receiver to adjust, but never having played college or pro ball, i just don't know. Thank for all you do.
