Will that connector fit an SO-239? I want to use M&P cable for my CB radio. The connector on the vid looks of much better quality. Looking to upgrade.

Thanks for your comment! It depends on the size of SO-239, Hyperflex 5 central conductor is 1,4mm (0.055" inches) and the jacket is 5,4mm (212" inches)

@@StropSharp They work perfect whit SO-239, i use them on Hyendfed 5 band wireantenna and on Hyenfedwire for10m. I am using a 15m hyperflex5 whit these connector in both ends...73:s from SA3CIT

I think it is not a good idea to solder first an then to fix the cable-clamp... I always fix the cable first and THEN I solder... ??

That would be correct - tightening the screw-clamp at the rear will tend to advance the coax inner, just a little maybe, but it's best not to build in a source of material stress.
