I love cosplay/con ones, they fill me w such hope & joy to still have the community going strong after all these years. My younger brother was born a few months before TF2 came out & we both got into TF2 a bit before Jungle Inferno. & here we are now! TF2 wasn't always my main fandom but it was always one I cared deeply for. The first time I tried to put together my own cosplay it was Pyro (it didn't end up turning out). For a bit over the past year or so TF2 has become my main fandom again & I have seen so much love for this old ass game from this community. Now w the summer update I've seen more love for one of the games that has influenced me most in life than I have in a long time & it means so much to me. This got a bit rambly & pointless but I just want to say I love Team Fortress 2!! I love that so many people still love it! I love that so many new eyes are on it! I love the community! & I hope Valve can recognize the love we have for it & do more w TF2 again

My personal theory is that Medic split the souls of the TF2 mercs into two team, each with their own bodies. It would explain how the Medic got acess to the team’s souls, and it would explain how there can be a Red and Blu team with two sets of the same people canonically existing in them. This could also explain how characters from one team could have experienced events which happened to another. There is absolutely nothing to support it, but it’s the best I got.

Not sure I’d it’s cannon or not, but in the movie emisis blue, it’s shown that there are clones of all of the mercs, which in turn would mean that the blue counter part of all the mercs are the clones of the original red team and so it’s completely possible that if they can build a machine that keeps people alive forever, is it so far off that they all have clones of them selfs. But that also brings up the point that if they can be cloned why not use the clone instead of spending time, money, and resources to build a respawn machine, but then there’s also the problem that in the comics when soldier pyro and scout go to find heavy, scout dies when he pulls his heart out of the hot dog costume and then just reappears at the cabin
