G'day. Cheers for the informative content. I've been looking at the UHI tractor and came across your videos. I have two questions if I may: This video is a while ago. Still happy with it? Doesn't the exhaust blow back in your face? The pipe looks badly placed. Cheers in advance and have an amazing day further.

Are you planning to get a shed to put your equipment under cover? I'd strongly recommend this as even the most sturdy steel equipment will suffer if left out for years upon years.

Hi andrew. Im also pretty new to farming. Ive got a same 50hp 1976 tractor that i just blew up and replaced the motor for! Hectic. 3 yr warranty sounds great. The price of the italian / European stuff is outrageous. Small issues with Chinese i can deal with. Please post up more videos on how its going with the service and issues and how the company is with service. Im near Lismore, NSW.

Hi Mate, I live only 250km from Perth. I got myself a UHI754. I have it for over 9 months now and over 60 hours on the clock and I have already had to make 3 warranty claims. Besides the claims I have most of the hydraulics leaking, every single bolt I touch is loose and the A/C is hardly a cool breeze. I say the built quality is very poor, but the support from the UHI team is great! If it wasn't for the warranty and the support team I would already had get rid of it. and I will get rid of it once the 3 years warranty expires.
@GoingOffGridAus
@GoingOffGridAus Жыл бұрын
Damn that sucks man. Different model to me obviously and I am also up to around 60 hours, but I havent had any leak issues at all with mine (and no ac) But my clutch has developed a weird issue where it just lets go and foot goes to the floor. Had a local approved mechanic suss it out and thought it was just a 50c spring but seems to be a bigger issue so they just sent a truck to Esperance and took it back to Perth for repairs. I would agree that the UHI team have been great to deal with throughout.

Hello Andrew, good video mate. I'm over in North Queensland and as you have, brought a new chinese tractor about 4 years ago. Different make, but lots of similarities to yours. Has performed very well and, funnily enough, there are the odd quirky design flaws (as I seem them), just like on yours - i.e. filter placement, access to oil filler opening etc etc. I have uploaded these things, as well as reviews too on my own KZbin channel. You'll be right mate, your machine will go the distance, as long as you don't ask more of it, than what it is designed for. And if you've got a spare parts agent over there, even better. Mine is down at Brisbane 1500 plus km away however, excellent service and peace of mind.

Mine doesn’t struggle that bad, it does take a bit of a quick and solid push and obviously using the clutch. If I try to gently switch direction like with a hydrostatic transmission it wont engage. Gotta treat her a bit mean 😄

Just started off farming, will be following your adventures. Have been looking at UHI equipment, I do have a question, was there any option for additional counter weights up the front? I'm guessing because it came with a FEL it wouldn't need it? Also do you know if can attach a hydrolic auger to the FEL? cheers mate

Hi, do you know who manufactured your tractor in China? down the line you may need to get spares sent direct. Have you had any serious issues? Great review.
@GoingOffGridAus
@GoingOffGridAus Жыл бұрын
I did find what factory they are made in but cant seem to find it right now. I have had something weird go wrong with the clutch, (randomly dropping pedal to the floor) but they sent a truck to pick it up and take it back to their workshop in Perth for repairs, apart from that its been great, 50 hours or something up on it now.
@andiharper4498
@andiharper4498 Жыл бұрын
@@GoingOffGridAus The clutch issue seems strange, possible a tension spring?? If you know the factory (Name, address) we can work out what other tractors have been manufactured there and differently branded which should make getting spares easier, especially when the warranty expires! There are lots of dealers popping up now selling Chinese tractors branded as their own.

@GoingOffGridAus
@GoingOffGridAus Жыл бұрын
Hi JenP, if it is the same as the 554, there is a silver lever on top of the bucket which you flick over, this pulls both pins at the bottom of the bucket in which releases it and allows you to back away from the bucket. If I could post a photo on here I would.

1 thing you might want to do ahead of time is take that backhoe and dig a hole approximately 5' wide 8' long and 7' deep that way when that tractor falls apart and you can't find parts you can bury that POS with your buddy's tractor.
