I can careless about the naysayers .. as a musician God moves thru music they the chords thru the beat thru the passion and praise ... there’s difference and I feel it in my soul.. this traditional original and genuine style of playing has tears flowing from my eyes and have had me in deep prayer and praise while driving cleaning working etc ... don’t be fooled and think yu can’t be moves by music it sets that atmosphere and is key in the preparation of reaching souls

I lived in LA my friend took myself & friends to Sweet Daddy's service! Never seen nothing like it, greeted with love, order, two brass bands jamming, MC five minutes do ur best, two girls fanning like Egyptian's, money barrel's full, place packed, what got me was the words, daddy give me a Praying Spirit, I started saying Lord, the shouters praising daddy😱 that's what took it. Not judging, but I can't serve man.

That's right! You wouldn't understand it! This music is very different than New Orleans because this music helps saves souls not lose it in some bar drinking!

With respect to, how this and ALL HOP bands play to the congregation and for the reasons they play the way they do, know this Shedon. What you are hearing is the Culture of the HOP as the congregation and ministers praise Lord Jesus Christ. That's all it is. If it's not your taste, so be it. Scripture teaches us in Psalm 149.3 ~ Praise His Name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp. In the 20th and 21st centuries, we do the same thing. We just use brass and percussion band and voices along with tambourines and dancing (shouting) in our relation with Christ. There is nothing wrong with that. At least in my Heart, it is and I'm okay with that. Peace my brother and may God bless you.

Cherri Williams I totally disagree with the part about souls being lost in bars, there's a % of people that do not go to bars and if a person choose not to attend a church why do people think they are lost or a bad person? There are people who have never attended or belonged to organized religion that have and do live a peaceful Life and they treat people right and they don't steal or us drugs or partake of all the things that people call sinful.
