Can I 100% Amnesia: The Bunker And Get A Refund?

Is it possible to get 100% completion in Amnesia: The Bunker and then get a refund from Steam? This video documents my journey trying to do just that!

No refunds? I bet you, steam would happily sponsor the avg 30€ licenses for the games, featured in these refund videos. They effectively get a ~35min ad in exchange for that, where even the less viewed episode has currently >400000 views. Plus usually a practice copy is required. So anyone who attemps this at home, has to buy one anyways.

This was genius on their end. If refund becomes an actual speedrunning catergory it could make them extra cash. Even if 9/10 times it gets refunded it doesn't cost them anything. They still get that 1 extra purchase. They even get free advertising and a guide to get started all rolled into one video.

I'd love a return to this with the Halloween Update achievements thrown in. They don't take much longer, but it would be neat to see you optimize the run anyways. Like you could just put the box in front of the hole and then leave it there, since whenever the beast is chasing you through a loading zone he tends to prioritize that hole so you should get it without trying too hard. And since you basically have to shoot the beast in the chapel since he always spawns, that is where you could get the achievement for shooting him, instead of wasting time trying to force it. Little optimizations like that could be useful.

2:28 It should be noted that during your very first playthrough the monster will never come out until you lift the lockdown. After your first playthrough if you select a new game plus he can then come out at any time after you get into the safe room for the first time.

I knew he was wasting time when he selected easy and didnt activate the handle to open the other areas because the monster doesnt spawn on lower difficulties until you've opened them

The reason why your first attempt at "Cut It Off" didn't work is because the beast cannot spawn before you release the emergency lockdown on your first playthrough.

I got the Shell Shocked achievement by complete accident; Toussaint apparently shot at a vision somehow, and it counted it as me shooting at the visions. I had to look up what the achievement was because it just randomly appeared for me aha. Pure luck for me.

in case you're wonering why you couldn't get the monster to appear to block it with a box, it's because, on your first playthrough, the monster is actually unable to leave the holes until you've replaced the valve and lifted the emergency lockdown.

Skyrim has. Like 600 quests wnd locations the main story alone is like 1-6 hours if you go fast glitchless so beating it 100% is Infact impossible

Many unfortunately are like you say. But they are required to make their finances public. Charity Navigator is a watchdog that analyzes this data and rates charities based on their findings. Unfortunately they are still US only, I don't know of any international equivalents.

Unfortunately a lot of players refund games these days after playing through them, especially with certain games you can easily complete within 2 hours like some smaller indie-games. Steam needs to change that. You buy the game or give it to someone afterwards, which is awesome, but sadly, a lot of others just refund. Steam should have an "Estimated playtime" set by the developers and should set refund-timers based on that.
