Ngl this game is my biggest guilty pleasure. I haven't bought or played it myself but I really enjoy watching other people play it. It's just really cool to see people actively doing something they want to do and learning how to do it, which shows in every improved chapter. It's still dumb as hell and not a perfect game but it's improving. As someone who joined a mascot horror project that was initially created out of spite for Garten of Banban, this video was… weirdly touching? Like, despite all the flaws of the Banban games (and the primal hatred my boss has for them), I’ve made TONS of connections with people thanks to this game. Even though I’ve become frustrated with the current state of Banban’s story, I’m forever grateful for the opportunities this weird little game gave me. Heck, I even fulfilled my dream of joining a group where everyone works on the same project!

I never disliked BanBan because it was bad (even though it was), I personally disliked BanBan because I thought it was a scam. A way to trick people into paying for a shitty experience. But after watching your videos, and watching the series slowly but steadily evolve, I can say that it was never a scam. This game series is the game development journey of the Euphoric Brothers, and we can see they’re getting better. By the time we get Garten of BanBan XX, it’s going to be an amazing game, horror or not

Garten of Ban Ban is such a fascinating beast to look at in real time. It's actually a record of two amateur game developers growing and improving as people and as game makers. From a first game that was sloppy, boring, with a barebones plot, and surrounded by the drama of the developers being unable to take any criticism, the games have slowly evolved into decent and varied experiences and the devs have grown into more mature people that can handle and learn from criticism. The games are no masterpieces by any means, and they are still quite clunky. But the journey of improvement is very clear. I hope that by the end of the series of games, we get a game that can be called not just decent or respectable, but actually good.

I also think the actual designs of the characters have improved, the weird alien guys actually got a lot with the weird veiny colorful art style the other characters have, and the dark bittergiggle design is actually pretty cool with the purple bits and being split in half.
