I am not sure if posting in English will come across the same way and I don't want to offend using an improper dialect. So, taking my chances here. I can't get enough of watching your progress. I have been a LONG time fan of Akira and Kaneda's bike was a masterpiece and I thought only would exist in fantasy. I have seen SO many people attempt to make this and some came close, others not so much. Yours is in a high category with me. What I mean to say is, if you sold the kit, I would do everything I could to buy it. It would be a dream realized to drive your bike around. It's perfection in the making. Your level of skill, attention to detail and functionality is on a level that I could only dream of reaching myself. Even in this state, the bike looks incredible. You have truly brought the Shotaro to life and I am really enjoying watching you build, what I think many can call, their dream bike. Your building an icon and I feel your doing it a true justice with the level you have been striving for. I look forward to every update and have shared your video's with my friends often. This one included. Keep up the superb work. I only have one question.... Would you ever consider making the bike electric and piping the sounds of the bike from the movie out on speakers to make the bike look and sound more authentic?

I believe he has said in a previous video he's not aiming for perfect accuracy, he wants it to be his own unique version of the bike. I think it ultimately adds passion for the project.

@TheRealAlpha2 I guess I missed that. Thank you. He's doing a phenomenal job. Taking nothing away from the amazing work he's done at all. Would be cool to have it electric and sound the part, but wholly unneeded. It still looks impressive from every angle.

Unfortunately, Akira's trademark is currently owned by an American film company, so it is impossible for him to sell it. sold for 5 million yen When Japan owned the trademark, a Japanese custom bike maker was actually selling road-legal Akira bikes for 5 million yen.

@@ガミラス-d1o I wasn't aware of that. So unfortunate. Well... perhaps one day I can use his videos to walk me through making my own (unlikely but one can dream)
