UiPath Document Understanding - Generative Classifier and Extractor for Unstructured Documents

Generative AI is one of the trending topics today. It is a technology that helps generate new content, as well as process complex data and extract meaningful information. This also includes the processing of unstructured documents.
UiPath 2023.8 Public Preview now offers Generative Classification and Extraction for processing unstructured documents. These new models use generative AI capabilities, making them more efficient and flexible in processing unstructured content.

In this case we cannot create our own data set and improve the model ?So basically if the prediction is wrong, the only way to improve it is the prompt

Hello, Yes.. As of now we don't have a feature to train the Generative Extraction model. We have to work with the prompt. However, I have a feeling that this might be a feature in one of the future releases.. So.. let's see what they come up with :)

How can I use other activities to get the IResource data type as input?

HI, You can use the File Exists activity. It gives the IResource output for all files stored in the local drives.
