UiPath Document Understanding - Generative Extractor for Tabular Data Extraction and Formatting

I do not see a way to pass the prompt externally ( tried to pass a variable but it did not work) ? Ideally the prompt query will be taken from the user and needs to be passed to the Extract Document Data Prompt , right?

Hello.. Sorry for the late response. You can use the latest Document Understanding activities to perform this task. It’s possible to dynamically assign prompts in the latest one. I also built similar workflows and it’s working perfectly 😊

What is new line separator u have used in generate datatable from text activity

Hi Shirish, In the Generate Data Table Wizard (timestamp 16:08), im using the option "[NewLine]" from the dropdown o specify the line separator.

Great content as always, but I cannot get ANY data out as JSON. Has anything changed since the release of this video?

Hello.. Hmm... I used it recently as well for something similar and it worked as usual. I don't think anything changed to not give you the JSON output. Maybe try with different prompts to see if it works?
