I just visited this site for the first time and i have become a fan for lifetime. Thanks for putting such informative videos on KZbin. How do we extract FONT properties of each text in a given PDF. eg: Font Name, Bold or not, Italicized or not, Size of font, Alignment of text and so on.

Can you elaborate on how to play with the selectors to find a specific text across multiple files?

Hi, when you choose multiple files, just open the selector box. Over there where the file name is mentioned, just change it to * so that multiple pdf file can be extracted. Apart from that if you wish to remove any unwanted rows, you can remove that also.

Pull down the File menu, choose "Save as," and add "-ocr.pdf" to the file name. Pull down the Document menu, point to "OCR Text Recognition," and then point to "Recognize Text Using OCR…" and "start" The OCR process will start. Hope that helps!

Well how would one read a QR code in a pdf file?

The only reliable way to do this is to convert the PDF page to a bitmap, then using something like zxing to scan the entire page for the barcode. Hope that helps!
