Please don't book or go to this hotel stay based on such fake & promotional videos. I had a very bad experience and made this big mistake after seeing KZbin videos & reviews about this hotel. Almost a month ago, I booked this hotel - 2 bedrooms (2 nights stay) before visiting Ujjain with my family. Despite having been booked as well as receiving a booking confirmation receipt a month ago, I found out there was no booking under my name after traveling and arriving at the destination. After admitting his mistake, the hotel owner tried to arrange our stay at a hotel near this place that was completely unhygienic, so we decided not to stay there either. There was a lot of arrogance on the part of the hotel owner, Mr. Prajapati, and they started talking rudely which, as I saw in the videos and reviews, I found to be totally unexpected. Please consider twice before you plan to stay in this hotel as the location and hotel is not suitable for families at all.

Don't believe this video. I have went there and stayed in this hotel,, after seeing this video.. the hotel rooms are in pathetic condition, rooms are of small size, walls are already damaged and smelly room, washroom lights are dim and stinks always. The pathway to the room is very narrow.. the hotel location is disgusting because you have to cross open drains and infact the stairs of the hotel is next to a big open drain. And moreover,, after we came back from Bhasma aarti in early morning, they were rushing us to leave the room even when we requested them to give half and hour to pack bag and get ready.. This video is a paid video and please don't trust them or else u will suffer like us..

Because of this misleading video i suffer alot *Disappointing Stay at Mahalok Hotel, Ujjain* I recently stayed at Mahalok Hotel in Ujjain, and unfortunately, it was a subpar experience. The hotel was extremely crowded and congested, with paper-thin walls that allowed noise from adjacent rooms and the reception area to seep in. Every guest's arrival and departure was audible, making it difficult to rest. Although the staff and owner were friendly and cooperative, I strongly advise against booking this hotel. Its proximity to the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, within walking distance, is a plus, but it's not enough to compensate for the hotel's shortcomings. Rating: 2/5 stars
