Hey Project Shivoham! I, being from Ujjain wanted to also provide a fact that the Tropic of Cancer and Prime Meridian cross right under the shikhara of the temple Mangala Nath (Lord of Mars). It is said the planet Mars emerged from this place. The brick that makes this temple is also of a dull red color (but it might be a coincidence). Ujjain also contains 2 Shakthi Peethas: Harsiddhi (left elbow fell) and Gadkalika (lower lip fell). Keep up the good work!

certainly credit should always be given as to the source of knowledge when used by another, whether we are speaking of individuals or countries. We are still discovering the extent to which India was in advance of other cultures as a leader in science, medicine, astronomy and other fields
@busy_bee22763 жыл бұрын
True, all the knowledge, everything came in1700-1800s, when they manage to get hold on administration of major Indian provinces and till the time they've learnt sanskrit, for the purpose of translating. Not saying it's all copied from India, but yes knowledge about "science" as a base was acquired from our books while technology has been developed by them. But they'll never ever give credit, otherwise Indians will feel proud and confident and might start reading their ancient texts, smartly labelled as "myths".

Questions: 1.What is the significance of Tropic of Cancer? Basically , why does the center have to pass through Tropic of Cancer in particular and not Equator , or Tropic of Capricorn? 2. If 0 degree meridian can be shifted , Is there a possiblity of creating time center in Egypt , Mexico , Myanmar , Bahamas , Saudi Arabia, etc. exactly like that in Ujjain? In other words , What was the basis of creating a 0 degree meridian there ?
@jayantiraphael86553 жыл бұрын
Exactly... No one is asking this..like wtf
@jasrajj84093 жыл бұрын
The answer that i will be posting will be my opinion only. The first reason should be very clear that only tropic of cancer among the three mentioned by you passes through bharat as we are in the northern hemisphere of the globe. And mathematically to find the coordinates of a point we need intersection of two curves ( here it is prime meridian and tropic of cancer). So that's why it should be center for computation. And second answer is very clear.If you are bharat why would you choose 0° meridian outside of it. If any other civilization would have been so advanced in STEM like ours they would have made in their country. So answer to ur 2 question should be a simple yes.

Namaste In Shikshavalli of Taittiriya upanishad it is mentioned that when chanting a vedic mantra four factors must be taken care of when chanting a syllable These are 1.Varna (Syllable) - Every syllable must be correctly pronounced. 2. Svara ( Accent) - Each syllable must be pronounced with one of the three accents namely udaata, Anudaata and Svarita 3. Matra(Duration) - Each syllable must be chanted for the proper time duration. There are 4 time durations namely hrasva,Deergha,Plutam and ardha maatra. 4. Balam (Effort) - Each syllable must be pronounced with appropriate force. Hence we must take care to listen and chant a vedic mantra correctly (Any non mantra like shlokas , 108 names etc. can be sung in any manner) After chanting the mantra, we need to observe where our mind has been. If the recitation is perfect but the mind has been involved in thoughts of office, an individual etc , the results experienced will be minimal. If we give our full attention to the meaning/deity of the mantra during recitation, better results will flow. Thanks.
