I received my UJK Parf guide system and everything looks good. Only one issue is the grub screw for the stop collar for the 20mm drill bit was not included. I purchased the kit from TSO here in the US. I seriously doubt they'll have a spare grub screw on hand. The fastest and easiest way to get a replacement would be for me to buy one locally. Can you tell me the exact specifications of the grub screw? I'll get one locally here in the San Francisco Bay Area, (California/USA).

Axminister - do you by chance know the actual start to finish time for this build? Or an estimate of how much time it takes once the MDF is cut to size for a Festool MFT size top?

I've watched a bunch of demos for this and it is pretty cool, but I still have no idea what the reason would be for needing perfect spacing on dogholes? Or why measuring with pencil and tape is hard? Or why someone would need a set like this, why would somebody be making this many benchtops?

This table top is generally used for cutting station.Using benchdogs you can cut all degrees you need.That requires precision.This system gives you that.There is lots of usage for perfect dog holes.

I still trying to figure out why you would want to do this, can you just mark it out and drill without the kit? Yes a lot of money but I guess if you need lots of holes then it’s good

Hi Crafty Woodworks, The UJK Parf Mk II System is based on Pythagoras’ theorem and can therefore produce a MFT worktop to CNC accuracy and ensures the holes are 90° to the work surface. This guarantees accurate 45° and 90° cuts, assembling tasks or laying out your project. I hope this helps.

Simple in concept but not accurate. At least not my kit. I’ve attempted to drill the 3mm grid twice now (on the same sheet of mdf) hoping I could just “erase” the first set of holes when I drilled the 20mm holes. But tye second set of holes is all out of alignment too. The columns don’t end up at 90degrees to tye first row. Which means none of the subsequent rows or columns are square either. Waste of money and a waste of a sheet of mdf. Disappointed.
