held one today against the new daiwa airity pro and new 4.5k shimano at wickersley and when i say i was shocked just how stiff this pole is at full 16mtr! id take the uk1 over them both and this is from air z pro owner! top pole cannot understand wy not more on the banks!

I’m very interested in this pole after a play with one at todber, but I’m very confused by the kits. I know they are diameter rated by solid and hollow, but what would that mean with regards to hybrids? They obviously have more stretch than a solid so would that mean you could get away with a slightly thicker diameter than the solid rating? I’m a matrix slik convert and can’t ever see myself changing from it, so I want to make sure I buy the right kits m. Can you help?

Hi Dan, the 'carp' kits will comfortably take Hybrid elastics up to 2.4mm. The most important thing is to be sensible when your elastics bottom out. Whether they are solid, Hybrid, or hollow, its when all the stretch is gone that you can damage your pole/kits. If it works on your existing pole, it will be perfectly OK with ours, They have good strength. Regards

@@GarbolinoUK thanks for getting back to me so quickly, do you mean the carp kits supplied with the pole? aI was very impressed with the strength and stiffness of the pole, its just the top kits that are a bit confusing...

@@danwild2672 yes the carp kits. The match kits will take big enough sizes of Hybrid elastic to fish for silvers (up to 2.0mm Hybrid and maybe more if necessary). regards
