Wow.. UK is a little too much. I am a US Citizen, I hate traveling from the UK, the US is better than my personal experience. US screens carry on bags passed but the UK might open your bags, one time I missed my flight 🛫 come to US, wait for another 12hrs to get my back home US.. so make sure you have enough time to cover the security location in case they want to check your carry bags.
