Hi andi, we don’t have tatkal option for passport in UK andi. We need to apply normal one, if we apply normal one we can get the passport from 1 week to 4 weeks time.

Hi madam, on 31st July I applied birth & passport same time in London, but still I didn’t received my child Indian birth certificate, I contacted vfs in Hounslow they told it’s still processing in high commission of India, do u have any idea roughly when I can get Indian birth certificate, I am waiting for your replay 🙏🏻

Hi, it’s been only 12 working days since you applied. So it might take 4 weeks which is 30 working days or 15 working days depends andi. So you need to wait few more days. You will receive the msg from them.

Hello andi, the office where we went they said itself not necessary to bring the child. There’s a small trick, if you take your child to the office, process might finish faster😅. Pls check with the office the one where you are going by calling customer service andi.

Hi, we booked appointment for birth registration and after going there on appointment day, we requested the officer to process the passport application in a polite way because we have a small baby we cannot travel again. So, they processed for passport on the same day. You can try this.

I exactly don’t remember but you can check in the website what documents to carry. Mostly they will be both parents passports, both parents BRP’s, Declaration letter, appointment confirmation letter. Please check before you confirm.

@@ts4175 Hi, sorry for late reply andi. Yes you can take her to Tesco. We had our daughter’s passport size pic in tesco as well. After going there you can ask them for passport pic for Indian passport or birth certificate. It’s the same for both.
