Helps so much to have perfectly mixed muck. No tippy tapping with trowel there, each brick put into place with the minimum of hand pressure. Also helps to know how much muck to put on the wall. All comes from experience. Great job.

In some of your video's, the mortar is reddish and in other video's the mortar is greyish (like in this one). What makes it different? Is there a quality difference between the two? Another composition? Just curious... Amazing how you do it, looks like perfection...

What's the purpose/advantage of the bricks used at the 3 minute mark with the recessed top versus the "standard" 3-hole brick?

Different manufacturing method that's all.the recessed one(frog is what it's called) slightly better quality(water will get into the 3 holes and can freeze and damage the brick, long term)

Hi Stu, love your videos. I'm not a bricky but going to have a go at building a garden wall soon, can you advise me on how to get a buff/sand coloured morter mix, can't seem to get a definitive answer online. Use white cement? Grey cement? Yellow sand or red sand? Dyes? Many Thanks Stu👍

May sound silly, but would you personally be able to lay bricks with a pointing trowel, I'm juth thinking if people cannot afford a big 10" trowel to start off with but have their grandads pointing trowel kicking about? Maybe a video? Also is there a set way the frog should go? If so can you explain why? Great videos, great job, you inspire me to want to do brick laying 😊 thank you. I hope to be able to show you soon what I have done from your videos being my tutorial 😊

The British houses are typical bank products. Now In brief- in appearance uk houses are looking nice and beautiful, but inside are absolute shit- full of mold and humidity, they are very cold, lack of isolation, a lot of leakages. That's my honest and general opinion
