Excellent driving as always! Got to love a Cummins Solo, they seem so much faster than their Merc counterparts however Merc is better for reliability

Thank you, I’ve been told the engine was 210bhp but had to be detuned 😂 but it’s a lot more responsive than the merc counterparts

That Yorkshire Bus Driver Cummins engined solos are pretty rapid I must admit so it having to be tuned down isn't a surprise especially in a small solo like 280! Must of been like the proverbial off a shovel before it got detuned 😂

Does the solos at your depot seem to be a bit jumpy at accelerating at lower speeds? Normally with the newest solo at my depot you go jumpy accelerating between 0 to 7 or 8 mph then it really slows down to less acceleration even though my foot is down to the floor. All the solos at my depot seem to do this, but do the ones at Honley?

No they don’t seem jumpy although we had one that did start jumping as you came to a stop but it no longer jumps
